Tour Of California and Kenda 5HR Energy!

The Tour of California came to a close this past weekend and it marks the first time the Kenda 5HR Energy had involvement. After battling with a world class field the Team did a great job of blending with the worlds best with a couple top finishes and time in breaks! Masi was there at the infamous Mt. Baldy stage to see the Team in Action!

Masi visits Kenda Pro Cycling Team Inferno Camp

Clermont Fl. The week of February 21-26 featured the annual training camp of Kenda’s Team Inferno. With recent news of the Team receiving an invite to the Prestigious Tour Of California and the signing of high profile riders we here at Masi were overly excited to attend the camp. With our new Evoluzione carbon frames we were confident the frames would be well received and we were right, they were a huge hit.

the camp was well organized and both of them made the athletes as well as visitors feel like kings. If the camp is any indication of how the season is going to go, the top step of podium will be a common home for many of the team racers! Here are a couple photos from the camp.

With a little help (okay, a lot of help) from Wayne Doran, Masi Bikes Product Manager he got to test ride it out to the coast with Haro BMX Parts Manager Derek Betcher and Warranty Manager Adam Watkins.
The bike rode really good and Pete plans to take it out on a 75 mile ride on Sunday with the Veloce Santiago Cycling Club.

We are pleased to announce that all (or nearly all) of the video segments for each bike are now available to watch as you look at each model or category. You can now learn a bit more about each bike or category and why they are what they are… aside from being truly beautiful bikes, of course.

Kenda Pro Cyclling p/b Geargrinder making headlines… get used to it!

The Kenda Pro Cycling p/b Geargrinder team, which we sponsor, has been getting a lot of press lately. In recent months, the team has been strengthening its roster and preparing to make a serious attack on the NRC calendar, as well as a number of international events. The team is also shooting for a spot in North America’s premier cycling event- the Amgen Tour of California.

After adding some great firepower and retaining riders who have been getting attention from other teams- and not to mention the leadership of Frankie Andreu- you can bet the team is going to be grabbing a whole lot more headlines as the 2011 race season moves along

Masi bikes in VeloNews Interbike coverage

The 2010 Interbike show recently concluded, with brands from around the world showcasing their latest and greatest offerings. Masi proudly unveiled the newest 2011 models to the rest of the world as well and we are super proud of the entire product range.

VeloNews tech editor Zach Vestal stopped in the booth and spent some time doing what bike geeks do best- looking at bikes and taking pictures. Zach gave us a very nice review on VeloNews and we’re very proud of the compliments.

As Zach mentions, Masi is certainly a brand making a lot of noise relative to our overall size- and we like it that way!
