The 2013 Evoluzione frameset with MC7 is loaded with technology and innovation, featuring redesigned chainstays and a PF30 bottom bracket standard that is not only Shimano Di2 compatible, but also shaves 100 grams in weight from last year's Evoluzione - making it the lightest Masi ever produced. The Evoluzione frameset begins with using premium quality Masi MC7 Toray T-700/M40J/M46J ultra-high modulus carbon fiber with full carbon dropouts to cut weight and increase stiffness. At the core of every Evoluzione is the Total Overdrive System (TOS) to ensure every watt of climbing power you put into the pedals is transferred to the ground, TOS features all-new, custom molded and oversized chainstays. To guide you through every chicane with razor precision, TOS uses a 1.125"x1.5" tapered steerer tube paired with exclusive FC/Pro full-carbon forks for increased front end rigidity and control a design concept that optimizes lightness, stiffness, and comfort, creating a no-compromises race machine that you'll enjoy training on almost as much as you enjoy winning on.
